Finite generation of the log canonical ring for 3-folds in char p after Waldron

The log abduance conjecture is still open in ch p even in dimension 3. One of its corollary is that the log canonical ring is finitely generated. This is proved by Waldron recently in dimension 3 and ch p>5. I will go through some details of his paper.
