Introduction to Graph Laplacian and Computational Geometry

Abstract:
Computational geometry has been widely applied to 3D image processing. One of the important roles is the discrete Laplace-Beltrami operator, which is a particular weighted graph Laplacian matrix. In this talk, I will introduce the graph Laplacian and the computational geometry, including surface parameterizations and the applications on 3D animations.
