Aim & Scope

As the number of researchers in applied mathematics, computational mathematics, computational physics (fluid dynamics, quantum mechanics, astrophysics, computational biology, etc.), and emerging fields such as AI and machine learning in Taiwan increases every year, it is essential to hold regular symposiums related to applied mathematics and computational science. This is the reason for organizing this "Symposium on Computational and Applied Mathematics. Through such gatherings, researchers can share and exchange their research experiences and increase opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration among mathematicians, engineers, and computer scientists. Another key focus of this symposium is cultivating the next generation of researchers in this field and provide an opportunity for them to actively explore and inherit the relevant experience and research direction of senior researchers. Outstanding individuals from various fields related to computational and applied mathematics, well-known retired scholars in Taiwan, and industry professionals are invited to present their works in this symposium. Students and researchers interested in these research fields are all welcomed to participate this symposium. We expect this symposium to play a significant role for the successful continuation of computational mathematics in Taiwan.
