Title: Geometric applied math
Abstract:
In this presentation, I will talk about new applications of differential geometry and classical geometry in applied math subjects including computational PDEs, fluid dynamics, and computer graphics. I will also share my personal journey of discovering this less common combination of pure and applied mathematics.
