【Title】From sublinear expander graphs to cycle decompositions

【Abstract】Expander graphs are among the most widely studied classes of graphs in various areas of mathematics and computer science. In this talk, I will first introduce the basic properties of expander graphs, with a focus on the concept of sublinear expanders. I will then discuss the techniques of pass to expanders and the expander decomposition lemma. Finally, I will present a recent application of these ideas by Bucić and Montgomery to the Erdös–Gallai cycle decomposition conjecture.
