【Title】Dirichlet Forms, Heat Kernel and the Brownian Motion on the Sierpiński Gasket
【Abstract】
In Euclidean space, it is well-known that the fundamental solution to the heat equation, the Gaussian kernel, coincides with the transition probability density of standard Brownian motion. In this talk, our goal is to find the heat kernel for Brownian motion on the Sierpiński gasket.
We first introduce Dirichlet forms, which provide a powerful framework for studying Markov processes. We then apply this framework to the Brownian Motion on Sierpiński gasket.
