Aim & Scope
The proposed workshop, hosted by the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS), aims to foster academic exchange and collaboration among young researchers working in inverse problems and related areas of applied mathematics. This two-day symposium will feature invited talks delivered by early-career scholars from East Asia and neighboring regions, all of whom have already confirmed their participation.
The workshop will provide a focused platform for the presentation and discussion of new theoretical, numerical, and applied developments in inverse problems, including (but not limited to) inverse PDE problems, imaging and sensing, regularization and optimization methods, and data-driven and machine-learning approaches.
By bringing together promising young scholars and an internationally recognized plenary speaker at NCTS, the workshop will strengthen regional research networks, promote international collaboration, and support the professional growth of the next generation of scientists in inverse problems. The requested financial support will help ensure broad participation and a high-quality environment conducive to meaningful scientific exchange.
