Outline: We will cover the first three chapters of 

Morters-Peres' monograph: <<Brownian Motion>>. The topics include 

1. The existence of Brownian motion; 

2. Non-differentiability and Holder continuity;

3. Markov property;

4. Martingale property;

5. The solution of the Dirichlet problem using Brownian motion;

6. Harmonic measure.
