The goal of this mini-course is to introduce modeling, simulation and analysis of various fields of biology and physiology. We shall cover several topics including molecular dynamics, general diffusion, electrostatics of charged molecules, and variational approach, which are related to our current research works of Poisson-Nernst-Planck type equations.
