Title: My Quantum Experience in PCMI
Abstract: During the three-week PCMI program, I had an opportunity to explore various topics in quantum computation and meet people from around the world with a wide variety of career paths. In this talk, I'll share my enriching PCMI experience and introduce fundamental concepts in quantum information theory, such as quantum states and quantum channels. Moreover, I'll talk about distances between quantum states and why they are important.

Title: My LEAN Experience in Berkeley
Abstract: This summer, I attended a summer graduate school held by Simons-Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute, Berkeley. In the summer school, we learned a coding language, LEAN. It can help mathematicians to find out whether there are some logical flaws in their proof or not. In the near future, as LEAN becomes more and more advanced, it will become a helpful tool for both professors and students to teach and learn mathematics. It was a great time there. In this talk, I will talk about my experience in Berkeley, the current state and future of LEAN, and how to use LEAN to help your research work.
